This is the 2: 1 multiplier version of this model, and this one is in Joe's "lightweight" configuration with porting on the winding plate and both sides of the spool, and which saves a little over an ounce (the catalog weight of this reel is 16. 5 but this one comes in at 15. 2 ounces on my scale).
