Bloodthirsty Conqueror On the surface, the Bloodthirsty Conqueror looks like any other big dumb five drop creature, with the extra synergy of being a vampire with a life gain ability (there are lots of both in MTG Foundations )

Notably, both spells can also gain you life to help you recover from the damage you suffered in the early stages of the game

Combat becomes hard for them, because they definitely dont want to face the Defiant Necromancer
