My photo lighting picks up every tiny imperfection on the silver-plate

There is a small tear and fold along the top right edge

but for me at least delivers a whole lot of delights

Happily, a handwritten note on the back of the mount provides full details: 1st Regiment Maryland Volunteer Infantry on practice march in Georgia,
